Princely couple join VIP Guests for An Elegant Tribute to Legendary Grace Kelly at Bel-Air Hotel

Montblanc hosted a special brunch on the day before the Oscars at the iconic Hotel Bel-Air.  VIP guests and personalities from the world of entertainment were invited to view pieces from the Montblanc Collection Princesse Grace de Monaco. It was a final chance for special celebrity guests to choose a unique piece to wear on the red carpet at the Oscars, and for Hollywood to celebrate the style and majesty of the 20th century’s most revered leading lady: Grace Kelly. HSH Prince Albert of Monaco and his wife Princess Charlene made a special appearance at the brunch to the delight of other guests.

For the first time, Montblanc showcased the complete Collection Princesse Grace de Monaco, a tribute to the timeless iconic elegance of Princess Grace of Monaco. Regarded as the epitome of classic beauty, this collection features fine and high jewellery as well as writing instruments and timepieces in the Swiss watch-making tradition.  The style and spirit that captivated film audiences around the world during the golden age of Hollywood and made Grace Kelly a subject of adoration, returned to Los Angeles to shine on the red carpet during the Academy Awards.

In keeping with Princess Grace’s spirit and her love of roses, the newly refurbished Hotel Bel-Air was decorated with impressive floral arrangements by David Jones. The floral designer created Grace Kelly’s wedding bouquet, when she married Prince Rainier in Monaco in 1956. Guests enjoyed the award-winning culinary delights of chef Wolfgang Puck and drank pink champagne and special cocktails.
